Fast Forward!

Each month Sloat Garden Center sponsors a different school garden in Marin County. The March school garden is West Marin Elementary School. Their established school garden is enjoyed by the entire school community. One student sums it up well:

"The beautiful grassy green garden means a lot to our school. We have had it for a long time and it has generated lots of healthy vegetables. The garden has made lots of delicious salads that we have eaten during lunchtime. I think our garden should always be in our school because it generates respect and care for a healthy environment. For me personally, the garden makes me want to have a garden of my own when I grow up."
